My Dad moved to Greenwich about ten years ago. At the same time I saw a cross stitch chart of the Cutty Sark and thought, “Aha! Perfect! I’ll make that for dad’s new house.” Well, ten years later I still haven’t finished even a tenth of the design.
Oh boy, there is a lot of sea and a lot of sky to stitch. I’m going to make a concerted effort this year to get at least half of it done so that one day dad will get his Cutty Sark. A little bit a week adds up to a lot at the end of the year. Right? Please say yes and wish me luck!
